Coastal Fog, offering home decor with a coastal flair, has opened in Artisans, 150 Plaza Drive.

Owners are Jordan Vainright, an East Carolina University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in interior design, and her mother Martha “Marty” Vainright, a 1981 ECU graduate with a bachelor’s in leisure services who has been the director of recreation therapy departments in several geriatric facilities and a teacher in different autistic settings.

Jordan Vainright founded Signature Jordan Vainright LLC in early 2007. Services range from rearranging existing furniture for a fresh new look, recovering worn furniture with new fabric or assisting in finding a new piece for a special place to designing floor plans for remodels and designing for new construction.

Coastal Fog embodies a coastal experience with home decor in rich textures and colors pulled from nature. The wares in the store — from heirloom quality furniture to handmade specialty dog confections — feature a timeless quality of old and new pieces with classic designs.

Coastal Fog, along with 75 other shops, is located inside Artisans. For any special residential or commercial design services, coastal paintings, or home accessories and gift ideas, call (252) 247-2632 or (252) 347-1231.
